OVERVIEW

Vehicular pollution is one of the most prominent problems all over the globe. As we know air is the most essential thing for survival on this planet as it contains oxygen which we need it for breathing, but today our air quality has gone so hazardous & poisoned that we feel insecure on inhaling it while we are on the road. A major contributor of this air pollution is the gigantic amount of emissions which vehicles are causing today. The emissions caused by vehicles includes carbon dioxide , nitric oxide , sulphur oxides ,etc which affect the health of the daily commuters (they are the stakeholder) seriously.

Our problem is related to long duration traffic on the road  which contribute a lot to air pollution.

When the vehicles stopped at traffic signals & the traffic is going to last for an hour, they emit hazardous gases even when not moving as the engines are in on state. People don’t turn their vehicles off even the traffic is 5 minutes long & in this way they contribute to the air pollution.

Due to this problem people who are walking on that road where this traffic is going on , they inhaled these polluted vapours & in turn their health affects a lot. This problem targets the health of commuters or travellers passing by. So this is a serious issue which has raised concern on the global level.
