Our project took a lot of time and energy to complete. We learned a lot of things along the way as well. Here is a picture documentation of all we did and contains reference links to where all we studied from.

OUR CIRCUIT

The resources we used for designing the basic circuit for pollution control and live pollution status can be found here. We integrated the accelerometer as per our requirement of sensing pollution when the vehicle is not moving and learnt how to use the accelerometer, MPU-9150, on this Arduino Playground link

THE CODE

We took code references from this Arduino Projecthub link for completing our sensor's setup. For detecting motion and whether the vehicle is not moving, we studied this Arduino Playground link.

THE APP

We used the MIT App Inventor to design our app and used images found on Google to improve on our design aesthetic.

Here we have a collection of some pictures taken during the time we spent in designing, building and testing our model.

We thoroughly enjoyed discovering new concepts along the way, from designing apps, writing codes, making circuits and building a casing for our common brainchild. We would like to thank our course instructors, teaching fellows, teaching assistants and the internet for providing us a web of opportunities to showcase our talents.
